Back in February, we shared a blog post titled – Celebration Gardens has Come A Long Way. We looked back at what our beautiful property looks like now and what it looked like when we rescued it in 2014. And yes, it’s come a long way.
Too Much Time On Our Hands
Little did we know when we shared that post that COVID-19 would change weddings and events for all of us. With most events, especially early on, canceling or postponing our Celebration Garden’s team looked for a silver lining.
We knew Celebration Gardens was a beautiful property with amazing gardens. But, with no one around to appreciate them, we took some time to up our game.
Getting A Little Face Lift
We took what most people would have seen as downtime and gave the entire property a little facelift. We installed a new wooden fence, repainted indoor and outdoor areas, and cleaned and sealed the pavers. We even moved the iconic red telephone booth to make it accessible for more photos!
Our team updated the landscaping, added new plants, and moved others around. We also re-sodded the entire lawn. Additionally, we installed new landscaping lights that light up the trees after dark.
A Time To Celebrate
We knew there was no better way to celebrate our new look than to finally come together with our wedding and event planning colleagues.
We’ve missed them so much, and hosting the recent Central Florida Wedding Association networking event brought everyone together.
It allowed us to showcase what a fantastic venue we are to host ‘socially distant’ {we prefer physically distant} events!
Thank you to all of the event professionals who worked with our team to create this fantastic event.
