Our botanical garden wedding venue, Celebration Gardens, is home to versatile indoor/outdoor event spaces and pristinely manicured landscaping. It’s no wonder we host many weddings here throughout the year! Our venue offers couples the chance to have a gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony on our Gazebo Lawn and an unforgettable reception under our Grand Pavilion. With our impeccable in-house catering team and uniquely beautiful property, you can have the garden wedding of your dreams here.
One of our couples, Emma and Michael, sure did! They tied the knot here with 70 of their closest people. Their big day included a timeless palette of sage green, ivory and navy blue along with meaningful personalized details throughout their décor. From putting their special touch on the unity ceremony to treating their guests to delights like a donut wall, every element of their garden wedding was thoughtfully curated.
By sharing this elegant garden wedding story with you, we hope you’ll draw inspiration for your own big day! This couple’s day also perfectly illustrates how to maximize the use of our sprawling grounds for each part of your wedding. If you’ve been dreaming of an indoor/outdoor garden wedding, make sure to take note! This post is for you!
Outdoor Garden Wedding Ceremony:
Emma and Michael got married on the perfect Orlando summer day. During their planning, they were able to make the process stress-free by taking advantage of one of our Diamond packages. These all-inclusive wedding packages take the overwhelm and work off your plate by bundling all your wedding vendor services together. This allows you to book one package, have one contact and sign one contract for your entire wedding!
Having their planning process be as streamlined as possible simply made Emma and Michael’s garden wedding day that much sweeter! For their outdoor ceremony on our Gazebo Lawn, they dressed up the Gazebo with elegant white fabric draping and floral sprays in their wedding colors of white and green. This perfectly complemented the surrounding landscaping, creating the dreamiest spot to tie the knot!
That day, Emma and Michael’s friends and family gathered to witness their union. They got to see Michael walk both his parents down the aisle with live string music gently playing in the background. They got to see the pure radiance emanating from Emma, as she made her bridal entrance with her mom. She was stunning with her floral embroidered wedding gown and classic white bridal bouquet.
Their loved ones also got to see Emma and Michael exchange vows and rings, as they made their commitment to one another official. One of our favorite parts of this day was the unity ceremony. Emma and Michael chose to blend coffee beans together to symbolize their union. This creative touch reflected their personalities individually and as a couple, making it the perfect keepsake from their garden wedding day!
Cocktail Hour in our Botanical Gardens:
After breaking the glass and sealing the deal with a kiss, Emma and Michael were officially married! We kicked off the celebration by opening the bar and inviting guests to cocktail hour in our botanical gardens. After all, what’s a garden wedding without taking full advantage of our lush gardens? While our in-house catering team, John Michael Events, served drinks and butler passed the hors d’oeuvres, the newlyweds captured photographs around our property. Guests got to munch on tasty bites like spanakopita, roasted tomato bruschetta and chicken satay while sipping on beer, wine or the couple’s signature drinks: the “Dirty Orly” and “Screwdriver.” Customizing their wedding bar with specialty beverages is another way this couple was able to make their garden wedding day completely and uniquely their own!
As everyone enjoyed the food and beverage, Emma and Michael roamed our venue to capture a diverse array of portraits. From wedding party pictures in front of the Gazebo to newlywed photos with the Getting Ready Cottage, in the Butterfly Garden, and throughout the main gardens, our property offers endless backdrops to give you a variety of choices for your wedding gallery!
Indoor/Outdoor Garden Wedding Reception:
When it was time for this garden wedding reception to begin, guests moved under the shade of the Grand Pavilion. We had set the guest dining table with white satin linens in this space with navy blue linen napkins and centerpieces consisting of hurricane candles, white floral blooms, and natural greenery. A light breeze blew through the space and the Pavilion’s open-air siding offered an unbeatable view of the gardens. Combined with the built-in market lighting overhead, Emma and Michael couldn’t have asked for a better site for their garden wedding reception!
To get the festivities started, Emma and Michael opened the reception with their first dance. Here is one of the best advantages to getting married at Celebration Gardens: the opportunity to get creative and have an indoor/outdoor wedding! This couple did just this by having their first dance just outside of the Grand Pavilion, so they spun and twirled with our beautiful botanical gardens in the background. Their loved ones were easily able to watch from their reception seats, but were also able to easily join the newlyweds on the outdoor dance floor!
The DJ invited everyone to join Emma and Michael in the Hora after their first dance, kicking off this wedding celebration with a bang!
Dancing Under the Stars:
The energy at this garden wedding was high after the dancing and it remained so throughout the night! Emma and Michael were nothing but smiles during the toasts their loved ones gave and enjoyed every delicious morsel of their wedding dinner. John Michael Events took great care of everyone that evening by serving a wonderful meal of:
- Country French Salad
- Chicken Marsala
- Cheese Tortellini with Sun-Dried Tomato Sauce
- Roasted Seasonal Vegetables
- Garlic Mashed Potatoes
- Chef Carved Hanger Steak
Not to mention that later on, they would treat everyone to a specialty donut wall with assorted Krispy Kreme donuts and artisan ice cream from Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream! This is all in addition to Emma and Michael’s vanilla and raspberry wedding cake. Talk about indulging your guests!
The remainder of this garden wedding entailed guests playing yard games within the gardens, gathering around the fire pit, and dancing under the Pavilion’s twinkle lighting and then under the natural starlight outside. Everyone had a wonderful time, reveling in each other’s company and the joy of the celebration.
Emma and Michael, it was our pleasure and honor to host your gorgeous garden wedding here at Celebration Gardens. From our entire team, we wish you heartfelt congratulations and a lifetime of happiness together!
