A Garden Wedding Ceremony at Celebration Gardens
We’ll always remember Nikole and Daniel’s garden wedding day for its rich shades of emerald and terracotta. These hues wondrously complemented the earthy tones of our landscaping, making their wedding design a seamless extension of our venue. They held their garden wedding ceremony on our Gazebo Lawn, where they swathed the Wedding Gazebo in terracotta draping. They then accented this with floral arrangements that consisted of orange and white blooms. While our Wedding Gazebo is beautiful enough to stand alone, many of our couples love to dress it up like this to add their personal stamp on the ceremony site. Finally, the towering trees and surrounding landscaping lent the finishing touches to this garden wedding ceremony setup.
When the processional began, Daniel walked down the aisle, wearing an emerald suit and a neutral boutonniere made of dried grasses and a hint of eucalyptus. This was already an iconic groom’s look, but of course, Nikole stole the show when she made her grand entrance! She blew everyone away in her all-white, lace wedding dress with cap sleeves. Her bouquet echoed Daniel’s boutonniere, consisting of dried grasses, orange and yellow blooms, and eucalyptus sprigs. Even her auburn hair matched their wedding design! She looked flawless.
Their ceremony was what garden wedding dreams are made of! There were sentimental smiles, wholehearted laughter, and lots of love. By the time they kissed to seal the deal, all their loved ones were cheering and clapping!
Botanical Garden Wedding Photos
After these newlyweds officially tied the knot, our team welcomed their guests into the cocktail hour. This was held in an outdoor space adjacent to the ceremony site, where we have a built-in bar with white exterior, lawn games, and of course, gorgeous gardens. It’s the perfect place to mix, mingle, and kick off the celebration!
While everyone enjoyed butler passed hors d’oeuvres by the John Michael Events team, Nikole and Daniel captured newlywed photos throughout our gardens. From the Wedding Gazebo to the Butterfly Garden to the authentic English phone booth we have onsite, there are endless backdrops for your wedding photos: Just another perk of being a Celebration Gardens couple!
Garden Wedding Reception Details
When it was time for this garden wedding reception to begin, guests flowed right from the cocktail hour area to underneath our Grand Pavilion. Our garden wedding venue was intentionally built for a seamless flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, so the party never has to stop! Underneath our Grand Pavilion, we set round tables with copper linens, terracotta napkins, and ivy gold glass chargers. The gold Chiavari chairs mirrored the chargers beautifully, creating a cohesive and unified tablescape.
While a gentle breeze blew through the space due to the open-air siding, soft market lighting twinkled overhead. This created a romantic ambiance, especially after the sun set for the evening. During this garden wedding reception, Nikole, Daniel, and their loved ones enjoyed a catered dinner of country French salad, Tuscan chicken, cheese tortellini, spinach alfredo, rosemary potatoes, and roasted vegetables. After dinner, they all indulged in mini bundt cakes before the dance party kicked off!
One thing we absolutely love about the Grand Pavilion is that it truly is an indoor/outdoor space! With the open-air siding, guests can go back and forth between our gardens, fire pit, and Pavilion at their leisure, creating a relaxed environment.
It also allows the dance party to spill out into the gardens, so you really are dancing under the stars! It was here amongst our botanical garden that Nikole and Daniel had their first dance… and then their second, third and fourth! Their guests joined right in and kept the party going all night long. Between the dancing, caricature artist, and photo booth, this garden wedding was downright fun and pure joy!
