A Pastel Wedding at our Botanical Garden Wedding Venue

Although our newly renovated Grand Pavilion at Celebration Gardens can seat up to 175 for a wedding reception, we also host many smaller sized weddings at our botanical garden wedding venue. Whether you’re holding a large celebration for a full 175 or an intimate wedding of 50, you’ll find that our all-inclusive wedding packages will fit your needs.

In this post, we’re showcasing the very special wedding of Haley and Ashley, who held their intimate wedding in our botanical gardens. You’ll see how we tailored their wedding package to meet their specific needs and learn how their pastel wedding took full advantage of every inch of our outdoor, botanical garden wedding venue. By the end, you’ll leave inspired and ready to start planning your own garden wedding!

Celebration Gardens: A Botanical Garden Wedding Venue

While wedding planning, Haley and Ashley knew they wanted a botanical garden wedding venue, where they could celebrate their nuptials with just their closest family and friends. Celebration Gardens fulfilled their wedding needs! Our outdoor wedding venue provides naturally beautiful gardens for your big day and our all-inclusive wedding packages make wedding planning as easy as it can be!

You can hold your wedding ceremony at our Wedding Gazebo, where the landscaping is always pristine and the gazebo is beautiful enough to stand on its own or be enhanced by the floral sprays that we can include in our wedding packages. After you tie the knot, you can take newlywed portraits throughout our gardens while your guests enjoy drinks from our built-in bar and play complementary lawn games.

When it’s time to start the party, you’ll find your dream wedding reception under our Grand Pavilion. With built-in market lights and open air siding (with electric slide walls in case of inclement weather), our pavilion offers protection from the hot sun, wind and rain. With built-in fans to keep guests cool in warmer months and optional mushroom heaters for cooler times of year, our Grand Pavilion is perfect no matter what time of year.

Getting Ready for this Pastel Wedding

Our botanical garden wedding venue also has the ideal ready room house, where you and your wedding party can get all dolled up for the big day. Adjacent to the Wedding Gazebo, it has plenty of mirrors, seating, and natural light, which makes it perfect for getting your hair and makeup done comfortably and in style!

This is where Haley and Ashley prepared for their pastel wedding. They each had half of the house to get ready in with their loved ones. For their pastel wedding, Ashley donned a white, three-quarter length sleeved shirt underneath a navy blue vest with matching bow tie. Haley rocked a white, floor length gown with an embroidered floral cape that trailed behind her elegantly. She wore this timeless dress for their wedding ceremony, but stay tuned to see how she would completely transform it for the reception!

Before their ceremony began, Ashley did a first look with her dad in our gardens. She walked through our pergola and came up behind him to give him a hug. The sweet and simple sentimentality of this moment was so special and pure. Our team at Celebration Gardens is continually blown away by the fact that we get to host couples and their families for the biggest day of their lives. We love getting to be the setting where moments like Ashley and her dad’s first look, and Ashley and Haley’s wedding ceremony happen. Their pastel wedding day is a day that Ashley, Haley, and their families can cherish forever, and we are honored that they chose to hold such a sacred day at our botanical garden wedding venue.

Wedding Ceremony at our Botanical Garden Wedding Venue

Haley and Ashley booked one of our all-inclusive wedding packages that included the rental of our garden wedding venue, photography, catering, floral, a reception DJ, and live ceremony music. This means that for their pastel wedding ceremony, our wonderful Orlando wedding vendor team draped the Wedding Gazebo in flowing white fabric and fastened two ivory floral sprays to it to frame the altar. These white blooms and natural greenery beautifully reflected the floral from Haley’s ivory bouquet and Ashley’s boutonniere.

As the processional began and this couple’s family and wedding party began walking down the aisle in various pastel hues, melodies from the live flutist and violinist duo wafted through the air. While everyone was dressed to the nines and looked great, Haley and Ashley’s sign bearer, who held a sign that read “Here Come the Brides” may have stolen the show! Dressed in a salmon bow tie, navy suspenders, and salmon colored shorts, he made his adorable entrance right before Ashley’s dad escorted her down the aisle.

After Ashley made her way to the altar, she got to watch the love of her life walk down the aisle to her. Escorted by her mom, Haley floated down the brick-lined aisle with a huge smile on her face, ready to tie the knot.

The ceremony was heartfelt and emotional. The sun beamed down, illuminating the lush landscaping that surrounded the gazebo lawn. Haley and Ashley exchanged handwritten vows and rings before their officiant formally announced them for the first time as a married couple!

Outdoor Cocktail Hour

After the ceremony, cocktail hour began with the John Michael Events team serving drinks from our built-in bar. As part of their catering package, Haley and Ashley had a full liquor bar. They created two signature cocktails from it: the Pickles Sour named after their cat and the Gal Pal Tonic, inspired by their love. Guests enjoyed these drinks while playing corn hole and miniature golf in our activity area. Meanwhile, Haley and Ashley took family photos and newlywed portraits around our botanical gardens. Our outdoor wedding venue has a variety of backdrops to offer your photos, from the floral pergola to the exterior of the ready room house, which features pastel yellow siding and beautiful landscaping.

It was at this point that Haley traded her floral cape for a sheer white robe with fluffy bell sleeves and matching hemline. It completely transformed the feel of her wedding dress! In one simple move, she went from a classic ceremony gown to a modern, fashion-forward look. Talk about iconic!

Botanical Garden Wedding Reception at Celebration Gardens

Aside from our Grand Pavilion, our botanical garden wedding venue has an Intimate Pavilion covered in natural greenery and vines. Guests walk through this space when going from ceremony to cocktail hour, and this is where Haley and Ashley shared their first dance al fresco under the glow of the market lights hanging overhead. Afterwards, everyone moved into the Grand Pavilion to continue the festivities. There, white tables and chairs awaited them with ivory floral centerpieces and sage green linen napkins, perfect for this pastel wedding. Haley and Ashley’s table numbers featured photos of them from that age.

The John Michael Eventsteam served everyone champagne in preparation for the toasts, and then four of Haley and Ashley’s beloved family and friends delivered lighthearted and sincere speeches. Then, it was time for dinner.

Guests enjoyed a wonderful buffet dinner that evening provided by John Michael Events. It included:

  • Mediterranean salad
  • Panko and parmesan chicken
  • Cheese tortellini with sun dried tomato cream sauce
  • Garlic mashed potatoes
  • Honey glazed carrots with pine nuts and basil
  • Assorted rolls with butter cups

As they always do, the team served Haley and Ashley plated meals while their guests moved through the buffet line. This is just one example of how their team treats you as VIPs!

Although we customized Haley and Ashley’s wedding package so that they could bring their own wedding cake vendor, the John Michael Events team happily provided cake service for the happy couple and their guests. After the newlyweds cut into the cake for the first time, they served guests slices of the three amazing flavors: salted caramel, red velvet, and mint chocolate.

Because Haley and Ashley know how to spoil their guests, they also provided an entire sweet treats table in addition to cake! It included assorted cookies from a special bakery in Pittsburgh called Yinz Coffee. Tradition has it that during the Great Depression, wedding couples couldn’t afford cake, so instead, they would serve baked goods like cookies.

Haley and Ashley spent the rest of the night laughing, mingling, and enjoying everyone’s company at our botanical garden wedding venue. It was a beautiful day to celebrate an even more beautiful love.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
