Hues like cream, peach, blush, and ivory have become wedding classics over the years because of their beauty and versatility. They transcend the wedding trends of the moment and are timeless in nature. Plus, they pair beautifully with other colors, such as the ones found in the multi-colored blooms at our botanical garden wedding venue!
It’s no wonder then that Tracy and James chose to have an ivory and blush wedding here at Celebration Gardens! They celebrated their new marriage with 50 of their friends and family, taking full advantage of everything that our botanical garden wedding venue has to offer. From the gorgeous Gazebo Lawn for their wedding ceremony to the open-air Grand Pavilion for their reception, they made the most of the property on their special day.
In this post, we’ll walk you through their wedding story and demonstrate how Tracy and James were able to have an intimate blush wedding, stress-free! Through their journey, you’ll see how they maximized the use of our botanical garden wedding venue and treated their guests to wonderful food and beverage enhancements by our catering partner, John Michael Events.

Blush Wedding Design Details:
Tracy and James booked our Celebration Gardens’ Rose Package. This is an all-inclusive wedding package that encompassed all the vendors that they would need to make this blush wedding a reality! Our team took care of organizing and liaising with their wedding vendor team, including photography, ceremony music, floral, DJ, cake, and catering. Since all of our packages are customizable, this couple was able to book their own officiant and remove that element from their package.
For their wedding design, they seamlessly infused their colors of blush, ivory, peach and cream from start to finish! For their wedding ceremony on our Gazebo Lawn, they draped the Gazebo in flowing white fabric that framed the altar. They also selected two floral sprays in their wedding colors to adorn either side of the gazebo framework. The natural landscaping of our botanical gardens finished off the ceremony décor. Our magenta bougainvillea especially added a fun pop of color to the ceremony site!
They had their blush wedding reception under our Grand Pavilion. This is an open-air, paved event space with included market lighting. It allows for incredible views of our gardens while still providing ample coverage. We even have complementary fans built into the Pavilion to help add an extra breeze on particularly sunny Orlando days!
For Tracy and James’ blush wedding, we set five round tables for the guests with ivory linens and our white garden folding chairs. We set ivory linen napkins at each place setting and ivory floral arrangements served as the table centerpieces. The crown jewel of the space though was the newlyweds’ sweetheart table!
For this, we set a half moon table and adorned it with ivory satin linen and black charger plates. A wreath of abundant floral blooms lined the edge of the table and we set a sweetheart throne for the newlyweds to cuddle up in. An acrylic chandelier hung overhead, completing the aesthetic.
Wedding Ceremony on the Gazebo Lawn:
On the morning of Tracy and James’ blush wedding, they each got ready on property. We offer couples a Getting Ready House in which they can get their hair and makeup done, hang out with their wedding party, and simply relax before the festivities begin. Complete with ample lighting, large mirrors, and comfy couches, it’s the perfect place to prepare for the day!
What’s more is that it is just steps away from the Gazebo Lawn! So when Tracy and James were all dolled up, all they had to do was walk out the front door and into their ceremony. That day, two of Tracy’s loved ones walked her down the aisle to marry James. She wore a white wedding gown with spaghetti straps, lace bodice, and incredible lace hem. Her fluffy bridal bouquet made of blush, peach and cream flowers added a delicate pop of color to her bridal look and mirrored the ceremony arch floral sprays. She floated elegantly down the aisle to the beautiful music of their ceremony violinist and cellist duo.
Their blush wedding day was a gorgeous one! The Orlando sunshine made all the flowers and greenery in our garden simply shine. It was like the entire world was celebrating Tracy and James’ nuptials!
Special Details at Cocktail Hour:
After the new Mr. and Mrs. tied the knot, they proceeded with family and newlywed portraits throughout our botanical garden wedding venue. No matter where you go on our property, you’ll discover the perfect backdrop for your photos. You can start with pictures at the Gazebo, wander over to the Butterfly Garden, and then make your way to our main botanical gardens. We pride ourselves in maintaining all of our pristine landscaping year-round, so that you can take full advantage of it for your wedding celebration and album!
As Tracy and James captured their photos, the John Michael Events team opened the full liquor bar and cheese display. This food station overflowed with gourmet cheeses and spreads, including brie, blue cheese, swiss, and cheddar. Served with assorted fruits, veggies, and crisps and presented on beautiful wooden platters of various heights, this was an impressive and delicious display to kick off this celebration!
Guests loved munching on this while signing the couple’s wooden heart guest book and enjoying the fresh air in our gardens.
Wedding Reception in the Grand Pavilion:
When it was time for this blush wedding reception to begin, Tracy and James made their grand entrance and then went straight into their first dance. We love how the guest dining tables surrounded the dance floor, so the couple was truly enveloped by their family and friends as they shared this special moment. The market lights overhead only added to the romantic and magical effect!
Next, the couple’s maid of honor and best man gave their toasts before the dinner buffet opened up. That evening, the John Michael Events team served everyone a delicious meal consisting of:
- Mediterranean Salad
- Rosemary Lemon Chicken
- White Truffle Bacon Mac & Cheese
- Garlic Mashed Potatoes
- Roasted Seasonal Vegetables
- Assorted Rolls with Butter Cups
Tracy and James also chose to enhance their buffet menu with an action station! This was a Chef Carved Hanger Steak food station with chimichurri, Pomerey mustard, and horseradish sauces.
After dinner, they cut their three-tiered white and blush wedding cake that included flavors of lemon, vanilla, and raspberry. Talk about treating your guests!
Dancing Under the Stars:
One of the perks of having an indoor/outdoor wedding reception is that you can take your dance party outside! As the sun went down and the stars came out, everyone shifted to dancing amongst the flowers under the night sky. They brought out glow-in-the-dark party props, which set the party further ablaze and kept it going all night long!
When the festivities came to a reluctant close, Tracy and James’ guests filled the air with bubbles and cheers for their grand exit. The newlyweds shared one last kiss before hopping into their limousine and heading off into their next chapter of life together.
