Even though every season is a great one to get married at Celebration Gardens, our property particularly shines in the spring! Our botanical gardens pop and bloom with color, becoming lush and luxurious, as they help us transition from winter to spring. Here in Central Florida, the months of January, February, and March are a wonderful time to get married because the weather is warm and temperate. Although it is winter according to the calendar, many couples think of this timeframe as spring, especially if they’re having a destination wedding with us!
The flora at our botanical garden wedding venue truly radiated for one of our beautiful couples, Stephanie and Shrey. They had a pink garden party wedding with bright hues of fuchsia, blush, lavender, tangerine, and coral. Our gardens naturally complemented their wedding color palette, providing them with colorful backdrops for their wedding festivities and photo gallery.
They hosted their garden party wedding during the daytime, an unconventional yet practical choice, especially for their intimate wedding guest count. In this post, we’d love to take you through their gorgeous wedding day and show you how we pulled it off together.
Garden Party Wedding Design Details:
Stephanie and Shrey’s wedding color palette was as vibrant and joyous as their love! From ceremony to reception, they seamlessly weaved their colors into their garden party wedding design. For example, they decorated our ceremony Gazebo with white fabric and colorful floral sprays, which reflected the fun hues in Stephanie’s bridal bouquet.
Then, at their reception under our Grand Pavilion, each table popped with pink! The guest tables featured ivory linens with dusty rose napkins and bright floral centerpieces. The newlyweds’ sweetheart table was the crown jewel of the reception décor with lush, fresh florals, pink linen, and a custom “S&S” neon sign. Not to mention the sweetheart throne and chandelier overhead!
Many of the elements in Stephanie and Shrey’s garden party wedding came included in their all-inclusive wedding package. First Look & Garden Party Wedding Ceremony:
Aside from your wedding design, another way to customize your wedding to your taste is through the logistics and flow of the day! Stephanie and Shrey not only chose to have a daytime wedding, but they also decided to include just their closest friends and family in an intimate wedding. These decisions helped this couple stay true to their personalities and wishes, just like their choice to have a first look on the day-of!
Seeing one another for the first time before the ceremony may be the right choice for you like it was for Stephanie and Shrey if:
- You’d prefer to reserve this as a private moment with just the two of you.
- You’re interested in exchanging private vows after the first look.
- You want to maximize your time during cocktail hour by getting pictures done pre-ceremony.
Stephanie and Shrey held their first look on the front lawn of the Getting Ready Cottage. Lush greenery surrounds this area and it’s one of the most private spaces at our venue, making it the perfect spot for a first look. Having this one-on-one time before they got married was a special way to kick off the day’s festivities!
Then, this couple held their garden party wedding ceremony on our Gazebo Lawn with their 45 loved ones in attendance. Stephanie was a true vision in her long-sleeved, lace wedding gown and delicate veil. The gentle sounds of the flute and violin floated through the air, marking this auspicious occasion.

One of our couples’ favorite things about us here at Celebration Gardens is our many, varied photo spots! Our landscaping partner, Botanical Harmony, takes great care of our flowers and plant varieties to ensure that you have a picture-perfect day. This certainly was the case for Stephanie and Shreya! Celebrating with John Michael Events:
Our in-house catering company, John Michael Events, is known for their incredible culinary talent. They’re able to curate a menu worthy of 5 stars, no matter what cuisine or service style you’re looking for! The cherry on top though is that the guest service they provide, from their Event Managers to the Chefs to the onsite servers, is top-notch. They truly care about taking care of you and your guests and going the extra mile to ensure everyone is happy.
That’s why we allow you to bring in outside food to our property for the John Michael team to serve. While many venues and caterers disallow this, we do because we know everyone’s needs are different. In the case of Stephanie and Shreya, they wanted to bring in specific Indian dishes to honor Shreya’s side of the family. We worked with them to ensure the logistics were set for this and on their garden party wedding day, the John Michael team was prepared to serve the outside dishes along with their own.
On the menu from the John Michael kitchen that day was:
- Country French Salad
- Panko and Parmesan Chicken Breast
- Pesto Primavera w pesto cream sauce
- Broccoli and Cheese Casserole
- Rosemary Shallot Potatoes
