Día de Los Muertos

  • DateNovember 16, 2018

It’s not every day that our Celebration Gardens’ team has a request for a Day of the Dead themed wedding. But that is exactly what Dena and Eddie were looking for!

Our beautifully manicured gardens, wedding gazebo, and newly renovated indoor reception space were perfect for this intimate wedding of fifty guests.

The couple selected our Wild Orchid Packages with incredible wedding vendors:

Wedding Catering: John Michael Exquisite Weddings and Catering
Wedding Coordination: Charlene, John Michael Exquisite Weddings and Catering
Wedding Officiant: Terry, Sensational Ceremonies
Wedding Cake: Cakes by Design
Floral Décor / Centerpieces: Lee Forrest Design
Linens: GSB Linens
Rentals (tables): Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals

Guests were welcomed to Celebration Gardens with a fun, quirky hand painted box for guests to drop cards with their good wishes.

The stage for their Orlando outdoor wedding ceremony was set with simple white garden chairs and elegant pink satin fabric swags on the wedding gazebo. Adorned with beautiful white flowers.

After the wedding ceremony, the couple and their family and friends made their way indoors for a beautiful reception and a fantastic dinner.

The reception space was set with several round tables draped in black linen. Each table had a unique design with vintage books, clocks, floral décor, beautiful day of the dead pieces and twinkling fairy lights.

Guests dined on Sesame Crusted Salmon with Orange Honey, Wasabi and Soy Ginger Sauces, Cheese Ravioli with Sun-dried Tomato Herb Cream Sauce as well as Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Honey-glazed Carrots with Toasted Pine Nuts and Fresh Basil. Additionally, Dean and Eddie served Chef Carved Brisket with Caramelized Onions, Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauces and Pomerey Mustard Sauce.

The focal point of the wedding had to be their amazing wedding cake. Their two-tiered naked wedding cake of almond guava cake in one layer and amaretto marble cake in the other was a delicious showstopper. The table was decorated with candles, flowers and Día de Los Muertos figurines.

We are thrilled Dena and Eddie picked Celebration Gardens for their beautiful wedding!
